Open the Gmail App
Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, then Add another account.

Choose "Other"
From the list of providers, select Other at the bottom.

Enter Your Email and Choose IMAP
Type your full email address, tap Next, then choose Personal (IMAP) when asked for the account type.

Fill in Incoming and Outgoing Server Details

Finish Setup
Confirm the account options (sync frequency, notifications) and tap Next to finish. Your inbox will start downloading immediately.
Tip: some Android phones use a separate stock "Email" app instead of Gmail. The steps are almost identical - look for "Manual setup" and pick IMAP there too.
